Product Details

Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Artist's Description

A desert night scene of the coyote singing to the moon! Look close and see I put “awooo” coming out of his mouth moving up the mountain! The green crescent moon matches the green crescents in his eyes. I love capturing the colors of a night scene, the scattering of stars overheard and deep space and the deep colors and patterns of the shadows.
Also in the "Under New Mexico Skies" series in homage to the Syd Masters song of the same name.

Cathy Carey

Contemporary Expressive Colorist Cathy Carey was born in Washington, DC. and grew up in Alexandria, VA. She was educated at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, and received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Several years later Carey moved to Southern California and continued painting, and started a business in graphic design and illustration. She works in all medias including Photoshop to create images. She currently maintains a studio and teaches workshops in San Diego, CA and Santa Fe, NM., and has taught at the Art Institute of CA in San Diego.
