Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Resplendent is part of an ongoing series I am doing using Fauve painters like Matisse and Bonnard for inspiration. They painted beautiful scenes as seen through windows that I admire. I use ideas, colors, patterns and other inspirations from Matisse and in this case Pierre Bonnard (1867 - 1947) paintings in combination with my own spin. This shows an interior done all in warm colors framing a beautiful view of Catalina island, looking down into the town of Avalon, from the approximate location of Zane Greys' former adobe home.
Contemporary Expressive Colorist Cathy Carey was born in Washington, DC. and grew up in Alexandria, VA. She was educated at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, and received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Several years later Carey moved to Southern California and continued painting, and started a business in graphic design and illustration. She works in all media’s including Photoshop to create images. She currently maintains a studio and teaches workshops in San Diego, CA and Santa Fe, NM., and has taught at the Art Institute of CA in San Diego.
